The Economics of Merger control
What we talk about when we talk about mergers Luca Aguzzoni - Lear Luca Aguzzoni is a senior economic consultant. While at Lear Luca has advised clients on mergers, allegations of abuses of dominance and collusion, on follow-on private damages claims and IPRs damages assessment. Working on these cases Luca developed an in depth knowledge of several sectors like Oil Refined Products, Consumer Goods, Media and Internet markets. He has also contributed to reports for the UK Competition Commission and the UK Office for Fair Trading. Before joining Lear Luca worked as external collaborator for the International Labour Organization (ILO) and as assistant economist for the Department for Work and Pension (London, UK). Luca has experience in applied econometrics and micro-simulation modelling and analysis. He has taught both executive training courses and undergraduate level courses. Luca graduated in Economics at Bocconi University and holds a PhD in Economics from the European University Institute, where he wrote a thesis on consumer and competition policy. Luca is fluent in English. |
