Beatriz de Guindos Talavera - Comisión Nacional de la Competencia

Beatriz de Guindos Talavera is Deputy Director of Industry and Energy within the Investigations Division of the National Competition Commission. Following her degree with honours in Economics at the Complutense University of Madrid, she became Member of State Corps of Commercial Experts and Economists in 2003 and joined from the beginning of her administrative career the Ministry of Economy and Finance, in the area of competition policy (first mergers and then antitrust). She has authored various publications in the field of competition and has taken part as a speaker in specialist national and international forums.
