Fabienne ILZKOVITZ - DG EcFin, European Commission

Fabienne Ilzkovitz is Head of the Product Markets Reforms Unit in the Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs of the European Commission. She is also Associate Professor in the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management of the Université Libre de Bruxelles and in a Brussels Business School (ICHEC). Before joining the European Commission in 1985, she worked as research assistant in the Université Libre de Bruxelles (1976-1983) and as attaché in the research department of the National Bank of Belgium (1983-1985). She has published several papers and contributed to several books dealing with European integration, competition policy and industrial economics.
